Privacy policy

Who we are
Therapy & Play Co. is a paediatric occupational therapy and clinical supervision practice operating in Melbourne's inner north west. Harriet Kariko is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (registration number OCC0002033343).
The practice trades as Therapy and Play Company (ABN 96 824 057 342), a registered business name of Harriet Louisa Adele Kariko. That entity is the data controller for the personal and health information described in this policy.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, and how we handle the health information you provide as a client of the practice.
Information we collect through this website
Contact and enquiry form
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the subject you select, and the message you write. This is sent to our practice inbox by email so we can respond to you. We ask you not to include detailed health information in the form, because email is not a secure channel.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored by Kit (ConvertKit), our email provider. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Bookings
Appointments are booked through Cliniko, our practice management system. Information you enter into the booking widget is collected and stored by Cliniko under their privacy policy, and by us as your health service provider.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load. Neither uses cookies, and neither tracks individuals across websites. We cannot identify you from either of them.
Third parties who process data for us
- Cliniko — appointment booking and clinical records
- Resend — delivery of enquiry emails from the contact form
- Kit (ConvertKit) — newsletter subscriptions
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
Fonts are served from our own website rather than a third-party font service, so no font provider receives your IP address when you visit.
Health information

If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or to the Health Complaints Commissioner in Victoria at hcc.vic.gov.au.
